A warm welcome in Johnny’S Cove. Make yourself comfortable: you are going to enjoy the alchemy between relax and fun of this place. In this newly renovated, bright and large apartment you will find a private room (with private bathroom) at ground floor and facing the sea. Living room and kitchen are free to use.
The huge and multifunctional living room is perfect for every moment of day: mid-morning or mid-afternoon you can sit at the large table (for example, if you have a laptop/tablet and want to sit comfortably). At the centre, you will find the house mascot Johnny, a stuffed toy, and its book, Jonathan Livingston Seagull: you can read it if you want! The large windows let in all the light you need, from early in the morning until sunset. The coffee table under the TV is provided with wheels, so you can move it in the middle of the room and put there the coffee you are sipping after lunch or after dinner. Also, you can relax on the comfortable sofa and armchairs. Chromecast is already connected for video streaming from your devices (for example, if you have a Netflix account you can enjoy your favorite series or movies on this large screen).
The comfort of the bed will allow you to rest peacefully after an intense day at the seaside. You can store your clothes in the practical wardrobe and put the clothes of the day on the couch. Then, if you need to recharge your smartphone or tablet, a long micro usb cable attached to a providential wall usb socket is on tap. In the first drawer of the nightstand you will find the information sheet for connecting to the home wi-fi. You will also have the freedom to access the balcony directly from the window of the room, in case you want to get some fresh air. The rays of light of the morning are ideal for starting the day in a good mood, whether in the afternoon the sun is no longer beating directly and the room temperature is liveable for the night.
After the day at the seaside, you can have a refreshing shower in you private bathroom, where you will find everything you need for the wellness of your body. Moreover, the large shower allows you to rest up without any restrictions. Shower gel and shampoos are at your disposal, as well as towels and bathrobe. Just in case, you will find the first aid kit in the sink drawer… Hopefully, you are not going to need it!
We are going to share the kitchen, but I’m very rarely at home. If I am there and if you like, we can have breakfast, lunch or dinner together. Otherwise, feel free to do it yourself without any problem. You can also shop here in the roundabouts and store your food and drinks in the fridge, you can use the stove, the oven or the microwave. Obviously you can also use the dishes, but I kindly ask you to wash them at the end of the meal and put them back in place.
In a nutshell, you can access the following areas: living room (large table, comfortable sofa, huge TV with Chromecast connected, direct access to the balcony), double room (comfortable double mattress, useful micro usb cable available, large closet, direct access to the balcony), private bathroom (towels, bathrobes, hairdryer, toilet paper), shared kitchen (fridge, espresso machine, juice extractor, microwave).
Here are some further details for your stay. Feel free to use the bicycle (if available). If I’m free and at home, don’t hesitate to ask for my help to discover the best places in the roundabouts. It will be a pleasure, if you decide to take advantage of the events that the Community will organize (if interested). The town of Civitanova makes sorted waste collection, therefore you will find the appropriate bins in the kitchen: you are kindly requested to dispose your waste by sorting the garbage. I live in the apartment but the house is well divided so as to leave you all the privacy and discretion you need. A carbon monoxide detector is positioned for your safety in the corridor. Parking is on the street (depending on availability) and free of charge.
A few information about the neighborhood. Within a few meters you can find everything you need: 2 cafés, a pastry shop, a grocery store, a discount, a supermarket, a deli, two typical restaurants serving Marche dishes: one if you like meat and one if you prefer fish, a take-away pizza, a pub, an ATM, a tobacconist’s, two hairdressers, a tailor’s shop, a gym, a petrol station, a yoga school and a shoe shop.
Some tips on how to move around. You can easily reach the city centre on foot (about 1 km). The bike path runs along both promenades, with the bike you can roam all the central neighborhoods of Civitanova. The nearest beach from home is only 100 metres away.
